- Advantages
To its disadvantage of being organic the color doesn't last long. Also one cannot take a head bath as often as one wants to, as the dye will fade fast. But the perk is, unlike Loreal this won't leave your forehead discolored and only binds to the hair leaving the skin mostly stain free. A few things to remember for first time users:- -Mehndi should be mixed to a ketchup like fluidity so that applying is easier, faster and it spreads evenly -Indigo will dry up very quickly and becomes caky, so one has to apply fast, otherwise we will end up wetting it again which will affect its color saturation -Both the Mehndi and Indigo needs more time to transfer the dye to the hair than what Kama suggests in their application instructions. Its better to keep Mehndi for 3hrs at least and Indigo for minimum 5hrs before washing it off -A single packet will come for 2 applications a month in a gap of 2 weeks if you are around 40-50 yrs old and greying only 2-3 inches at the root and the hair is around 30 cm's long -The Shampoo and Conditioner are average products similar to what they sell in Fabindia and Khadi. Nothing very special about them. I am a first time shopper at Silkrute and they failed to mention customs duty at NL. Ended up paying a huge amount as duty charges to DHL. However when I gave the lowest rating for my initial review due to this, I was quickly contacted by the Silkrute Support Team and upon sending the duty amount transaction proof they refunded it immediately. I highly appreciate them taking up my review seriously and resolving it very professionally
