It came in a bubble wrap package with each comb in individual plastic covers. It is as shown in the picture. It is sturdy and efficient. It touches the scalp while combing and controls itchiness. I am in love with these. I'll update after 3 months of usage.Note: Do not comb wet hair or even a drop of water touch the wooden combs as it will cause fungus formation on the comb.Always apply generous amount of coconut oil to the comb and let it soak overnight, then clean then using a cotton cloth.
